Got to the beach at 5:15pm!! Busy day, but as the wind seemed to be building and had swung more SW had to go for it. Rigged a 5.3m and it was bang on. PLenty of power, so not a minute wasted wallowing around. Only small waves cos the tide was way out, but a few standing up for little jumps. Still sunny and all the kites packing up, so after 20mins had the beach all to myself. Wind seemed to get gradually stronger all the time. As a result the wind swell also slowly picked up and with the extra power it was good for a few down wind turns every run. Stayed out til 8pm when the sea was just lapping around the groynes. The waves cleaned up a lot and were in the knee to waist high range. Well whackable with a powerful 5.3m. Had a ride every run back to the beach and a few really nice ones. Bad light stopped play for once. good sesh.

ps took the winter boots off half way through cos they were annoying me and IT WAS ALRIGHT, bare feet till winter now.
